The clear waterways provide endless opportunities for adventure by kayak or paddleboard, with birdlife moving quietly along the shoreline. Hike through the surrounding woodland forest trails, home to kangaroos and echidnas, take an e-bike ride along quiet country roads or book a scenic glider flight at the next-door Lake Keepit Soaring Club and enjoy the landscape from the sky. Afternoon sundowners are enjoyed lakeside, then gather around the firepit or enjoy the comfort of the Gilay Lounge to scan the Milky Way through a celestial telescope thanks to some of NSW’s clearest skies.

At Wilderluxe Lake Keepit, alfresco dining is our speciality. Enjoy a slow morning in true country style with a locally sourced continental breakfast on your private deck overlooking the water below. Gourmet picnic hampers are a much-loved indulgence at lunchtime, featuring seasonal, local foods that can be enjoyed lakeside. Evenings invite slow, meals with curated gourmet BBQ packs featuring local produce to cook at leisure in your Star Tent. Enjoy alfresco dining with a gourmet picnic at a sunset lookout, or indulge in a sunset picnic hamper to accompany a sunset at a nearby lookout or indulge in a grazing platter, designed for sharing under the stars.
The Gilay Lounge
Enjoy exclusive access to the onsite Gilay Lounge when you stay at Wilderluxe, Lake Keepit. The Gilay Lounge provides the perfect location for enjoying a glass of wine with a view, or enjoy a meal. Offering complimentary espresso coffee to fuel the day ahead or visit after a day of adventures and enjoy a relaxed cocktail or a glass of wine whilst watching the on-site film, Big Sky Dreaming.
Regional Delights
For those wishing to explore further afield, the surrounding region is home to an abundance of country pubs, farm gates and regional restaurants that celebrate the rich produce of North West NSW. Carroll Gap Farmhouse (7 minute drive) offers cookery and cheese making classes (bookings essential)
Closer to your accommodation, the Reflections Lake Keepit Canteen is a short walk away. Enjoy coffee and light refreshments plus weekend lunch options or re-stock your drinks at their licensed bottle shop.
