Multicultural Festival 2025 (Gunnedah)
On 21 June 2025, Gunnedah Council Town Hall comes alive with the sounds, flavours, and colours of the world. The Multicultural Festival is a free community celebration that brings together music, dance, international cuisine, art, and workshops. Hosted by the Multicultural Women’s Association and Gunnedah Conservatorium, this year’s event also aligns with International Make Music Day – so expect plenty of rhythm in the air.
Gunnedah Farmers Market
Held on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month, the Gunnedah Farmers Market is a year-round showcase of local produce, artisan goods, and homemade treats. In winter, it’s the perfect place to warm up with a hot coffee and pick up fresh, seasonal goodies.
August 2025
AgQuip Field Days 2025 (Gunnedah)
From 19–21 August 2025, the paddocks west of Gunnedah host AgQuip Field Days – the largest agricultural field days in the southern hemisphere. With over 3,000 exhibitors, it’s a massive showcase of farm machinery, agri-tech innovations, livestock, and rural lifestyle products. Alongside the exhibits, you’ll find live machinery demonstrations, expert talks, and plenty of opportunities to sample local produce.
September 2025
Quirindi Spring Show 2025
On 13–14 September 2025, the Quirindi Spring Show returns to the Quirindi Showgrounds with the theme “Around the World.” This family-friendly event blends agricultural competitions, horse and cattle displays, amusement rides, food stalls, and live entertainment. It’s a true slice of country life with a festive twist.
October 2025
Gunnedah Showjumping Festival 2025
From 23–26 October 2025, riders from across the region gather for the Gunnedah Showjumping Festival, an elite equestrian event that sees competitors tackle challenging courses with precision and skill. December 2025
Quirindi Boxing Day Races 2025
Boxing Day in Quirindi means one thing – the Quirindi Boxing Day Races at the Quirindi Racecourse.
